Learn to Save a Life

All our training is free for the community — supported only by your donations

In our free training courses (Hands for Life, Heartsaver, and CFR-C), participants receive full, accredited instruction in line with internationally and nationally recognised standards — for example, the American Heart Association (AHA) for Heartsaver and the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) and Irish Heart Foundation (IHF) for CFR training. You’ll get hands-on practice in adult, child, and infant CPR; how to use an AED safely; management of choking; plus modules on stroke recognition, heart attack, infection control, post-event debriefing, and CFR reporting. Each student receives course materials, certification (valid for two years for many courses), a wallet card, and ongoing support — all delivered free of charge thanks entirely to donor support.

🤝 Working Together to Save Lives

We know every community group is different, whether it’s a Men’s Shed, a GAA club, a school, or a local council. That’s why we bring the training to you, at times and locations that suit your members. Our team can tailor sessions to small or large groups, keep things informal and practical, and ensure that everyone leaves with the confidence to step forward in an emergency. Best of all, there’s no cost — we simply ask that groups consider supporting our work with a donation, so we can continue providing this life-saving training across West Limerick and beyond.
